Comfort Darkwaah Konto is a highly motivated Chartered Professional Administrator recognized for her strong organizational skills and dedication to duty, earning awards and citations within and beyond CSIR. With a solid background in Economics, Education, Strategic and Consultancy Management, she provides expert guidance to enhance institutional efficiency, achieve business objectives and drive sustainable growth.

As a Principal Administrative Officer and Head of the Administration Division, she oversees administrative operations by ensuring seamless departmental coordination, developing and enforcing organizational policies, and implementing strategic initiatives to optimize workflow and productivity. She has played a key role in staff recruitment, orientation, training, promotions, performance appraisals, and welfare and disciplinary matters. Additionally, she has contributed to policy formulation, implementation, and monitoring, particularly in Conditions of Service, Scheme of Service, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Ms. Konto has also been instrumental in resource mobilization, significantly contributing to the generation of Internally Generated Funds through organization of workshops and assisting in the establishment of schools and colleges. An active member of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants, Ghana and CSIR Administrators’ Association of Ghana, she participates in HR conferences, training programs, and institutional committees that influence policy development and staff welfare.

She is highly skilled in communication, leadership, and problem-solving, with a strong commitment to professional excellence. Known for her discretion and integrity, she has managed confidential information with precision and professionalism, consistently upholding the highest standards in her responsibilities.
