Dr. Reginald Tang Guuroh is a Senior Research Scientist and the Head of Division of the Forest and Climate Change Division, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research-Forestry Research Institute of Ghana (CSIR-FORIG). He is a Professional Forester and a Natural Resources Management practitioner. He holds a PhD. in Plant Ecology and Ecosystem Functioning from the University of Bonn, Germany.

His research interests cut across Climate change and land use effects on plants; Ecosystem functioning and service provision; Greenhouse gas measurements; Forest Landscape Restoration; Biodiversity and conservation; and Agroforestry. He has over 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications, in addition to book chapters, technical reports and other scientific communications including conferences. He is as a Lecturer at the Department of Natural Resources Management, CSIR College of Science and Technology (CCST) where he also serves as the Thesis Coordinator.

He supervises students both from CCST and collaborating International Universities. Dr. Guuroh also serves on various committees including leadership positions of a number of professional associations within and outside the CSIR. These include the Research Staff Association (RSA) of CSIR, Forestry Research Network of Sub-saharan Africa (FORNESSA), and the International Association for Vegetation Science (IAVS).
